Andy McKay has wide experience of media production and visual arts as an independent artist, writer, director, producer and as an advocate for the development of visual arts and independent film sector in the UK. This advocacy has included being a founder member of the consortium that formed Intermedia and Broadway in Nottingham, serving on the Arts Council of England Lottery Film Panel and Head of Media, Publishing and Visual Arts at East Midlands Arts. Originally trained in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent he now lives and works in his Newark based studio and is a Senior Visiting Research Fellow in Film and Media Production at the University of Lincoln, UK.
